Yuuko Oshima: The Kawakage of Ashigakure

Hailing from the Land of Rivers, Yuuko Oshima is the Kawakage of the Village Hidden in the Reeds, one of the five villages participating in the Age of Remembrance Tournament. She is the single strongest Shinobi in her nation and sits in judgment alongside the other Kage. Yuuko is unique among her rank in that she is technically the First Kawakage. Born over four hundred years ago, she is the only remaining member of an ancient clan that was obliterated during the war, and she served as the founding Kage of Ashigakure. Although she vanished for a century, leaving room for a handful of successors, she returned just over forty years ago and reclaimed her title. Since then, she has watched over her homeland and has helped organize the various campaigns against the pirate hordes. According to the ART pamphlets, she is known for her ancient knowledge, her mastery of Ninjutsu, and her Kekkei Tōta, Flesh Release, which combines Earth, Water, and Yang to alter her form and utilize extensions of her own body. Her signature technique is Flesh Release: Hammer of a Hundred Palms.
