Shibuutsika Aiko
Shibuutsika Aiko, the 6th Division Lieutenant, earned her nickname 'the Weaver' through two different avenues. For one, her Shikai powers create thousands of razor-thin, near-invisible strands of metal wire that can cut through Arrancar like butter; they are particularly dangerous in Hueco Mundo, where she can hide them beneath the sands and shred her targets into ribbons from ambush. But the other origin is far older, stemming from her pre-Gotei training as a geisha and political assassin. Although she is fiery and determined in reality, her soft-spoken and polite facade and excellent acting skills have been used countless times to thread political favors and backroom deals into a tapestry of contacts, alliances, and forced betrayals. If it weren't for her absolute devotion to the 6th Division, she would have made an excellent Sesshi member or 2nd Division spy. As it stands, Aiko uses her weaving skills to tie nooses around the necks of Soul Society nobles who would otherwise look to weaken the Gotei 13, and the 6th Division's proposals for Hueco Mundo operations are often approved by hands puppeteered by Aiko's strings.
