Hayashi Ishurimoto, the 12th Division Lieutenant, is a man from a unique clan of souls that alters their appearance ritualistically and specializes in body modifications. Ishurimoto, disowned by his family for releasing the clan secrets to the Gotei 13, has put those techniques to use in order to turn himself into a fighting machine. Physically, he is the strongest of the Lieutenant-class, and his martially-oriented Shikai, Boro de Hime (Princess in Rags), runs contrary to how he is seen by the public eye. To most, Ishurimoto is a scientist and the Seireitei's resident botanist. He assists Hanjimono Kin in the realms of natural science. In reality, he is also a brute weapon ready to be used against those who believe the 12th Division to be all brains and no brawn.
